Chatsworth Ruggedized Computer Manufacturer Goes Live on QAD Enterprise Applications
Santa Barbara, CA -- January 10, 2008 -- Strategic Information Group (SIG) announces that an a Chatsworth ruggedized computer manufacturer went live on version 2007.1 of QAD’s Enterprise Applications. The full system implementation lasted only 3 months.
The company is a leading supplier of rugged computer systems optimized for harsh environments. Markets and customers include Defense, Space, and other industries. QAD’s ERP Application was selected over other competing ERP systems given QAD’s strong track record and large customer base of electronics and other companies serving the defense and aerospace markets.
Using SIG’s direct start methodology the company implemented the financial and manufacturing components of the QAD 2007.1 system. Under the leadership of SIG the client project was completed both on time and on budget.
Project Manager, Keith Randazzo commented: “Our client’s objective was to implement an ERP out of the box to support their increased growth and provide executive management with tools to manage and nurture their continued expansion. With QAD they now have a system to support them well into the future.”
Future plans include implementing sales aspects of the system and integration to labor reporting.
