Bay Area Medical Device Goes Live on QAD ERP in 3 Weeks
Santa Barbara, CA -- Feburary 7, 2008 -- Strategic Information Group (SIG) announces that an emerging Bay Area Medical Device company went live on version 2007.1 of QAD’s Enterprise Applications. The full system implementation lasted only 3 weeks.
The company is focused on treatments to restore normal spinal anatomy. QAD’s Enterprise Applications were selected over other competing ERP systems given QAD and SIG’s proven performance with emerging, high-growth Life Sciences and Medical Device companies.

Using SIG’s direct start methodology the company implemented the Financial and Manufacturing components of the base QAD 2007.1 system. The client also implemented the Compliance module to assist with maintaining FDA compliance. Under the leadership of SIG the project was completed on time and on budget.
Future plans include implementing sales and service aspects of the system after commercialization.
