Santa Barbara, CA — January 3, 2008 — Strategic Information Group (SIG), a full service provider of QAD Enterprise Applications and QAD consulting services, today announced that Mitchell Sorscher has joined the company as Senior Technical Consultant.

Mitchell comes to SIG after a 17 year career at ALZA Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical manufacturer and long time QAD user. Mitchell held various IT related positions including IT Manager, Technical Project Manager and Programmer/Analyst. Mitchell has experience with FDA validation, Lean, QAD Enhanced Controls and the Camstar InSite MES application.

Mitchell holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Michigan. Mitchell holds CPIM certification through the American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) and is currently pursuing his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
