June 25th, 2020 – Strategic Information Group, the award-winning provider of ERP software, services and support for manufacturers, is supporting communities in need with a donation to the Minnesota Rapid Response Coalition (MRRC), an organization committed to rapid crisis response in the state of Minnesota. MRRC is mobilizing to help communities and small businesses adversely impacted by the protests related to the death of George Floyd to get back to work, and ultimately, thrive.
“Strategic Information Group recognizes the importance of community, especially during these times of division and unrest,” said Doug Novak, CEO, Strategic Information Group. “Minneapolis is an important business community to us and we have chosen to support the Minnesota Rapid Response Coalition because it’s true to our mission of solving urgent business challenges. It’s a great organization doing vital work.”

MRRC includes several area organizations: Aurora St Anthony Neighborhood Development Corporation, Bourne Strategies, Kindly, The Sanneh Foundation and Ujamaa, who have joined together to help with the clean-up and to lower unforeseen expenses for local business owners. The group started with businesses along the Lake Street, Midway, and East Saint Paul business corridors, but will soon begin allocating resources throughout the Twin Cities.
Strategic has a history of fostering community and collaboration, being a global organization with deep ties to customers, partners, and the tech community. Says Novak, “Our company has consistently grown through hard work and positive collaboration. We see those same qualities in MRRC and believe that the collaborative approach of their work will deliver positive results on the ground for local business in need.”
