Strategic is taking another step forward in our long partnership with QAD to provide solutions for those manufacturers that require compliance with:
QAD and Strategic Information Group are partnering to offer the QAD Defense Cloud, an AWS GovCloud hosted solution, managed and supported by Strategic’s SIGSERV team. This new initiative will address the technology, security, documentation, data sovereignty, and data management requirements mandated by these governmental organizations and regulations.
The offering is available for new or existing clients in the aerospace, defense, and arms/munitions markets who supply products or components to the US Government and/or face these regulations. Strategic is proud to continue partnering with QAD on objectives that help keep our clients’ data safe, secure, and efficient.
Do you manufacture or distribute components or products that have “capacity for substantial military utility”? Do you manufacture or distribute products listed on the United States Munition List (USML)? Data relating to the components or products above must be protected to meet the requirements of ITAR, including:
Do you process, store, or transmit Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) regarding contracts for services or products that you have with any federal agency, such as but not limited to the U. S. Department of Defense (DoD), U. S. General Services Administration (GSA), or National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)?
If your company, or any company you do business with has a federal contract, then you are handling CUI and are required to be NIST 800-171 compliant to protect that confidential information.
Are you currently, or do you expect to, go through a 3rd party Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)? If so, what level are you targeting?
If your company has contracts with the DoD and “are planning to bid for future contracts with the CMMC DFARS clause, you will be required to obtain a CMMS certification prior to contract award. A DoD contract will specify which level of compliance is necessary to meet.”
